3 year olds – Pre School RAD Ballet “Mini Dance”   Mon 5:15pm  Thurs 5:15pm   Sat 9am

 Brings the world of dance into the world of your 3 year old with imagination and creativity.  Enhance your child’s experience through dance with music, co-ordination, focus, movement, stimulating social and intellectual development. Ballet based. RAD Pre School Curriculum. Begin at any time if there is an opening in any of the classes.
45 minute class. 8 week blocks $120 hst additional   New Sessions February  2017 Call us.

RAD Dance Readiness      4-5 year olds   Wed 5:15pm Saturday 9am
Ballet based, developing musicality, dance skills, co-ordination, posture, relaxation, focus, imagination, creativity, and confidence building in a supportive, creative and nurturing environment.  Half and full year programs  45 min classes once weekly. There are a few spots only remaining in our winter classes. Next New Session begins June 2017 Registering now. Call us re availability..

RAD PrePrimary Ballet     5-6 year olds  Wednesdays 5:15pm Sat 9am

Ballet based invoking the imagination, through dance. Fun and active but requiring focus and co-operation. Children work individually, in partners and in groups. with  patterning, rhythms, dance styles and music growing as dancers and individuals, Half and full year programs. Summer Sessions run beginning in June. 45 min classes once weekly.

RAD Primary Ballet  6-8 year olds.    Thursday 5:15pm Sat 10am

RAD Grades 1-2 Ballet (1 hr classes)
Gr 1   Wednesday 5:15 pm      Gr 2   Sat 10am  Monday 6 pm

Ages 7 and up. Dance technique including barre, dance solos and group ballet combinations and dances and  Character dance. New students will quickly catch up if they are just beginning dance at this level. Grade 1  once   weekly. Grade 2  twice weekly or 2 years at the Grade 2 level. Students may also study tap, jazz and/or modern. Royal Academy of Dance medals are awarded to successful exam candidates. Exams are offered to students deemed to be ready by the Academy Director. Private lessons by arrangement. Summer Sessions run beginning in July.

Ages 10-14 (approx)  New students will be directed into appropriate levels. Performance, ballet skills, solo and group dances. Two to three classes per week.   RAD medals are awarded to successful RAD exam and Class Award candidates. Some levels may require 2 years of study depending on the number of weekly hours of training.

RAD Grade 6-8 (1-1.25 hour classes) Scheduled alternate years. Next session 2017

12 years and up. Students may study the vocational levels concurrently or on alternate years. Examinations are offered. Successful Grade 6 students may apply for RAD student membership.

Pointe work  and examinations are offered. Students passing these levels can apply for RAD student membership.
